I bought this game a couple of weeks ago, and have not been able to get it to run.
It installs OK, and I have installed updates 1 & 2. Box says it runs in Vista.
Without CD in drive, it says "Activation Error"
With CD in drive, screen goes black, I hear brief music, then just black screen.
If I open/close CD drawer, CD starts running, as does harddrive, for about 3 minutes, then the CD menu screen comes up.
After that exercise, the game has started and run a couple of times, but now I just get Fatal Error, and the Debug Log says "Failed to create 3d object vertex buffers".
I have tried many settings in nVidia Control Panel to no avail. Anybody have these experiences?
