Well, I bought Lock On today. Bit of a change from FS.

Knowing the trouble I had to get FSX to run, I was kind of expected it might be troublesome. I was unfortunately proved right when I fired it up.

The GFX are totally messed up. From my programming experience, I'd say it was a polygon positioning error, but you can see for yourself it's not exactly easy to fly in. I've messed around with all the settings, and windows compatibilty modes, but it's not working!

Any ideas?

(I am currently downloading the 1.02 patch, so we'll see if that works)

System:
Intel Core 2 Duo 1.5Ghz
2Gb RAM
Intel X3100 Graphics (Yes, it does run FSX!)
Windows Vista Home Premium

Ok, patch didn't fix it.

I'm going to blame the problem on your video card, but don't feel too bad.

My system doesn't like that game either, there's sooo many bugs with it.... I get random crashes, graphics anomolies etc etc etc

Well, I knew it was going to be the GFX card. Guess theres not much I can do about it. Shame, because it looks very good. Very realistic avionics. Not that I can see much of it!

Do you think installing the version of DX that's on the LOMAC disk would help? Obviously I'm using Dx10, so that's probably what it isn't liking....
