Hi,
You'll still need to make some slider choices, but it will do well. Make sure you install SP1 and SP2.

In short, yes
You might need to adjust the AI traffic and stuff, as well as getting a good overclock on the cpu, I have an 8400 also, and I have mine running at 4.0GHz, and with my GTX280 combined I get an average of 30fps. MY buddy has a 8400 and a 9800gt and he has his at stock clocks, he gets about 20fps, I guarantee if you get a better cpu cooler and overclock it you could see 25~ fps.
But don't get from Dell, get from Newegg USA (http://www.newegg.com) if you're American, or Newegg Canada (http://www.newegg.ca) if you're Canadian. Prices will be lower, you will need some technical expertise to build the computer, but other than that defiantly TRY to get from Newegg.

Do you really need 2 DVD drives? It will run FSX well.

Don't get pre-built anything from ANYBODY, plus all we really need to know is:
CPU (processor):
GPU (graphics card):
sound card (sound card?):
RAM(Random Access Memory):
motherboard (motherboard?):
CPU cooling(what cools the CPU):
Case (thing that holds parts):
Hard drive (if you don't know what a hard drive is your in for a fun time):
I'm sure not reading that 50000 line list bud.
