View Full Version : Can't use slew mode with X52 Pro (FSX)

Every time I try to use slew mode the aircraft shoots off sideways at a high speed and often up into the air. I suspect it's something to do with my controllers but try as I might I can't solve it.
Someone advised me to do it with the parking brake on but that doesn't seem to work.

Hi,
Calibrate under Windows and then see what happens.
Thanks,

If recalibration in Windows doesn't cure it, then perhaps your null zones are set too small, allowing any jitter or slight offset from the stick to cause problems. Try widening the null zones a little bit. Or it may be that the rudder (or other control on the stick) has a little too much friction, thus not allowing it to quite be centered without a bit of checking and manually adjusting the control position.

Thank you - I'll play around with it.

I have the Microsoft force feedback stick and I have the same "Problem" With me it isn't a calibration issue. It only occurs if the stick is not PERFECTLY centered. Otherwise when switching to "Slew" mode, the sim looks at inputs from the stick to move the aircraft.
I disable joystick before going to "Slew"
Or make sure your stick is perfectly centered, then you can
slew your aircraft with the stick
