Howdy folks,

Still having a blast downunder. Just purchased the Green region by Orbx, making my virtual Australia almost complete. Here I am still touring north in the Gold region; a flight in the Carenado Mooney that started at Lismore (YLIS) and ended at Redcliffe (YRED ). A very drastic end I might add. Darn that crosswind. Barely made it and had no time to hit the screen button, LOL Enjoy the pics below of beautiful Queensland and the city of Brisbane. Notice the great freeware Archerfield (YBAF) I passed enroute. Hope you like 'm guys. have a great weekend :)

Looks good Bert. Been hanging at the Orbx site for a couple weeks thinking about a virtual move to Australia myself.

Funny Bert, I recently installed the latest version of VOZ for FS9 as well as a ton of Aussie AI traffic. It sure is a beautiful place to explore in FS. Now if I could only get the same quality of free addons for New Zealand.

Great pics Mate, good to have you back. Cheers! Mike :)

Fantastic post ,Bert!
I purchased Orbx Blue and love it...
Had bit of a problem with FTX & UTX -Make sure after you turn off FTX that you run the UTX utitility program to relaod the cotrrect files for UTX or you wioll be missing some water...

When I purchased Orbx BLUE-I stayed "Down Under" all weekend flying! The photo realisim is unbelievable..

Do you recommend Gold & the newly realeased Green?
Did you also grab all the "Freeware they have?"

Hey Rick, thanx for the comments. Well, actually I recommend everything these guys are doing. It doesn't come out of the blue that for the first time in my FS carreer I'm advertising a commercial product through my signature :D Gold is the smallest region, but looks very different from Blue. Green is very diverse. See the details on their website.
Ofcourse I also have all the freeware they offer and all the freeware strips offerd by OZx, available here: http://www.aussiex.org/index/news.php. All these fields blend in perfectly with the surrounding scenery. Beautiful stuff :)
