The Seafire wings are folded manually by ground crew, not from
cockpit.I also would like to know where I can download it.
I flew the seafire in the British Navy, hence my interest.

Flightsim.com has it. FS2002.zip plane and FSsound.zip sound . I found that I had to move the planes zip file to a folder before I could get the aircraft to self extract properly.

The names of the files are sf2002.zip and sfsound.zip. Search for "Seafire" in flightsim.com.
As you have flown the real bird I would like to have your comments concerning the realism (at least in what concerns the panel).

Just downloaded this baby and took it for a spin around the block.... verrrrrrrry sweet!
I knew a guy (worked with my dad) when I was a kid, who flew a Spitfire at Dunkirk. I still remember the stories he told, and how much he loved that plane. Since getting FS2002, I've been looking for a well-built Spitfire model, but have been unsuccessful. The Seafire is the closest I've come to date.
WWIIFlyer,
I, too, would be very interested in your feelings as to the authenticity of this model's flight dynamics, panel, etc.
Perhaps you could submit a review for those of us here at FlightSim?
Regards, Tom

To tshannon
Am afraid it's nearly 60 yrs since I flew it.It looks like the cockpit is quite authentic apart from the gun button.I took it up for a quick flight for afew loops and rolls and it seem to behave OK.I will have to find what the keyboard functions are to
operaye thetailhook and the side door etc.

You will find the answers to the keyboard commands in another thread of messages also under the title "Seafire" where I was also looking for some help in that sense.
I can now tell you the following:
Tail hook: Shift+T
Canopy: Shift+E
Side door: Shift+E and then 2
The cowl flap closes with Ctrl+Shift+C
and opens with Ctrl+Shift+V
To fold/unfold the wings you have to assign it in the "Assignments" page.

As to the Shift+T for operating the tailhook, this was not already assigned to this function. After assigning it, it worked just fine, I used Tab for wing folding assignment as well.
