Don't want to lose it all....

I just upgraded to a new computer and I want to get my awards and logs copied over to it. Does anyone know which files are involved? I have spent a lot of time, like most of us, doing missions and accumulating awards and would really hate to lose it all.

Welcome to the FlightSim.com forums. Since nobody else has tried to answer your question, I will, but please understand that I know basically zero about this subject ...

The name of the file in question is logbook.bin, as I recall. I don't know where this file lives but I strongly suspect that if you were to copy it from your old installation to your new one you would get the effect you're after.

However, I think that you should also post your question to the Newcomer Services forum. The chances of a logbook expert seeing your question will be much larger there than they are here.

Yes, in 'My Documents' find the folder titled 'Flight Simulator X Files'.

That folder contains all pilot rewards, logs and even your flight plans. Keep that backed up on a regular basis.
