How do you manage to see the third-parties aircrafts you add to FS2002 at a correct size, in the preview window ?
For example, I downloaded the wondrful Fleet Canuck, but it appears very small in the preview windows.
I also got the Pitts S1-S, but it appears so "near" that it's a see-through preview !
How could I fix this problem ? A zoom factor somewhere ?

There's a download called TcdfsView.exe that will fix the view size problem by modifiying the .mdl file. You can scale the view to any size you like (with "16" being the default).
Try it, I think you'll like it!

In the Select Aircraft menu, left-click on the Preview window.
Now, with the keys on the numeric keypad:
- +/-: zoom in/out
- arrow keys: rotate etc.

Thanks a lot ! Both of you are right, but...
Tcdfsview works fine... only with planes which model file is exactly 1,053,696 bytes long. Refuses to patch files of a different size
+/- keys in the preview windows work perfect... but the tuning is valid as an immediate setting, not kept for future use.
I wish I knew how to find my way in those mdl files...

I'm not sure I understand the file limitation you're talking about because I've used it on FS98, FS2000 and FS2002 aircraft, and never had a file that I couldn't modify, but then I've only used it about 6 times in FS2002, so....
I hope you find an answer!
