Well I only had time to enter my lucky Lotto numbers for tonight, when I was told that our heroic Dutch friend Mr Peer had gone and done it again.
Not in a submarine this time, but an aircraft. Some far off island with friendly female locals and a bar. Why does he always crash in these sort of places??? It's costing me a bomb in fuel to keep rescuing him.Oh well, a friend in need, is a friend indeed.

Thanks Josh. This was FSX with Light Bloom enabled. The water is just bulk standard FSX, but I have got a utility whereby you can change it. :):)

The last time I tried FSX on my computer, I didnt even make it to 10 FPS, and that was with everything set to nothing! At least you can run FSX!

I'm doing quite well. Quite high frame rates except at the most detailed of airports. Haven't set any AI up yet though.:confused:

Awesome shots. Takes me one step closer to investing in FSX seeing shots like these.

Though I'd need to upgrade the PC first so starts getting a bit expensive just for eye candy.

Great Pictures Simon! Awesome Work again!
But why did you take an Helo?
Don't you know what happens if Mr. Peerhoven and an Helo come close to each other? :D:D Better don't give him an Seat in the Front when flying back!

Wow, what a nice Helo!! I made a landing place next to the bar. You'll like it here :cool: Because of my natural born ability to conquer the forces of nature I was elected as CHIEF of the island. The position of Minister of Defence and Liquors is still a vacancy. ;) I'm afraid I have to charge you for every helo landing, a new law, sorry, my statue in front of the bar will cost a fortune. :D

What a great shots my friend, I didn't realise I was that far away......:eek:

Jorge, this is bulk standard FSX water. But there is a program called FS Water Configurator available here at flightsim. Just do a search for water.

Thanks for the great replies eveyone. :):)

No problem Jorge. For FS9 you could always try Flight Environment. Water, cloud and sky replacement tetures.

Thanks Smutley, I use it, Flight environment with ground environment and I love the dark water. I canīt see details because all my flights I do I fly more than 25000 ft. Your screens are so special

Did Jan really need rescuing or did you just want to join in on the fun?

Great shots. Just love those water and sunset textures.

Fantastic shots Simon! and good job on rescuing our heroic friend...Regarding your question of why he always crashes in places like those, i took this pic in a former flight we did in a CV-580 ..

http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o310/yv35p/17979322965d82b38cf9hq3.jpg

Just by coincidence there were many hot babes and the nearby bar was cheap...and yes, we ended in jail...

Have a nice day amigo!

Hey Carlos buddy, thanks for the reply. You really shouldn't let Jan push any buttons you know. :D:D Btw where is our heroic Dutch friend, I can't see anyone wearing pink speedos on the beach. Must be in the bar already. :D:D

All the best amigo. :):)
