Is it possible to download another type of aircraft to my FS? If so what options do I have and how difficult would it be to add more aircraft currently available on FS 2002?

Mustafacurry,

The FlightSim.com file library contains a large number of addon aircraft for FS2002 as well as for all other versions of Flight Simulator. To access the library you will need membership in the main site, which is different from membership in the forums. Once you have created that additional identity, log in as that person and then kindly do the following ...

Go back to the main page of the site. Just above the large "Features" and "News" column headings is the menu bar you used to get to the forums. Immediately to the left of the Forums button is a button named "Files". If you mouse hover over that button you will see several choices. Because FS2002 is not listed you should click on the "Search Files" choice.

You will then be taken to the main file library search screen. Use the "Search only file section" pulldown and then scroll down to the FS2002 section. This screen should be self-explanatory, the only potential gotcha being that you must search based on either text or a file name, but not both. File names can be generalized using "wild cards". So, for example, if you were to specify "ab*.zip" you would then be given a list of all files in the file section you specified that begin with "ab" and end with "zip".

Do you know what a zip file is and how to unpack it?
