Help with registering gmax again

I have recently accidentally removed gmax from my computer I have reinstalled it and when I go to register it and it says "Incorrect registration version. Please update your gmax" I press ok and then it says "Cannot continue. Registration was not successful" I even download the version offered at the web site and it still gives the same error. I had this problem before and I fixed it but I can't remember how I did it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to register it again.

Don't know if I can help exactly, but I have big gmax registration problems my self. Do you still have the two Register entries, plus the cookie in your temp internet directory? Without them gmax won't work. Uninstalling may wipe your Register entries.

You won't be able to register the product again using the same mail address, but I believe there is a fix at their web site - once you can get through the undergrowth.

Anyone out there, could they please have look at their Registry Editor and tell me what is listed under the two Autodesk/Discreet/gmax keys? For some reason I can't register gmax and am going to bite the head off a Jellybaby, every hour of every day, until I can.
