If I'm on a long flight and want to stop and continue with the flight at a later time, if I press ";" semicolon and save the flight, will I be able to resume the flight at the point where I left off at a later time? This is if I exit Flight Simulator and start it up later.

thinman,

The answer to your question is a qualified yes. It should work fine with all default aircraft. However, many addons do not save their panel states fully and when you restore the flight you might not get everything back exactly as it was.

For this reason you should develop the habit of saving flights in a paused state. This will allow you to tweak the panel states before you resume flying.

As to location, weather, altitude, heading, etc, yes -- this all should be saved and restored completely by FS.

Thanks Mike for the quick reply. I did save it and resumed today...but there's more. I'm going to jump over to FS2002 Forum for the strange results.
