Hi, there:
I live in beautiful Costa Rica and have just watched a Nat Geo documentary about UPS (United Parcel Service).
They say UPS has an exclusive method for landings and taxi to save fuel called 'Descenso continuo' (in Spanish), which I translated as 'Continuous descent', consisting in gliding the planes to the ground.
Does anyone here know how do they do that and if it is possible to replicate in Flight Sim?

Well, there's nothing 'exclusive' about that.
ATC tries to keep you descending without a level off and at the correct distance from the airport. That's all.
A lot of STARs are already designed to be flown via a continuous descent.
E.g. If ATC clears you from FL300 to 150 they aim to issue a further descent clearance before you have to level off at FL150.
Furthermore it would be perfect if you are approximately 50-60NM from the runway at FL150.
That way you arrive at the glideslope with none or only partial flaps extendend, the gear up and still with idle thrust.
That's the most economic way.

Excellent, Bernt...!
Thanks for the explanation.
