I recently had a computer crash (or so i believe),

i was running the HP Total Care Advisor to check on my laptop's status and then the dreaded Blue Screen Of Death appeared for about two seconds then my computer restarted. when i logged on, a window popped up saying that the crash was triggered by the Intel Turbo Memory Driver...

i have searched around and found some topics relating to its driver,

i was wondering if anyone could have had the same problem, or a solution to the problem

any help will be appreciated

system specs are as follows:

Guam ...

Not kidding, could it possibly be heat-related? The cooling for most laptops is marginal and might not be adequate for Guam in the summertime. There's no predicting what symptoms overtemps will cause.

I hope this helps.

it is possible, prior to running the health check, my computer was somewhat hot

i have the a/c in my room on now and so far no problems

deepsea345,

Another reasonable possibility is a flaky or inadequate power supply. This also is a way to develop intermittent obscure symptoms that have no simple explanation.

You might re-post your issue to the hardware forum. People there know much more about this stuff than I do.
