How do you get the video recording to work? I have read the instructions in the learning center, but I am unable to find the "options" menu it refers to.

Here's a tutorial on making videos with FSX (it covers recording and replaying your flight in an "instant replay manner," and also recording video separately for YouTube.)

Do you see a menu at the top of your FSX window? If not, hit the Alt key on your keyboard to display the menu. Hit and hold the Alt key for about 2 seconds to hide the menu again if you don't want to see it while you fly.

Also look at the FSX Recorder in the flightsim library.

It's pretty awesome. You can record a flight and then play it back as traffic and fly in formation with the recorded aircraft.

The file posted in the Flightsim.com library is an older version of FSRecorder, to which I link in the tutorial.

You should not use that version. Instead, I suggest the link I provided to the latest version.

Talking Never mind, I found it. I actually followed the link!! And I do have the right version unless there is a version after 1.3
