View Full Version : Afcad glitch - reversed runway

I have constructed an airport using AFCAD. The runway is oriented 06-24. I indicated the BASE to be 06 and therefore the RECIPROCAL is 24. The heading from base end is indicated as 60.000 with the appropriate VAR cranked in too.

However, when I go to this field and, using the pull down menu, place an acft on Rwy 06 the plane is actually placed on 24 and vice versa.

Any ides what I have done wrong or missed in the process? Any feedback would be appreciated. Tks guys/gals.

Have you set the runway starts correctly?

Tks a million - I fixed it. I rechecked the start locations and found that even though they were labeled properly the individual Lat & Long's were reversed and that was the culprit.

The old eye's ain't what they use to be! Again tks u.
