Im on "Comercial Pilot Lesson 1: Complex Aircraft Checkout"

I make it till it's time to plot a course back to Bremerton airport via the Garmin GPS 500. The only thing I could find, was for the garmin G1000. I must be missing something. They might want to clarify on this in the lesson. Being this is the first time a GPS came into the picture. They just say, This is a good time to try out the GPS, so do so and plot a course, and hit ctrl ] when your ready.

If anyone knows where to find info on how to use the Garmin GPS 500, please let me know

Any help appreciated

This is another topic they skipped in the next FS? FS9 had this on their learning center. You'd think they'd carry this over on FSX.

I'd paste it here, but unless you have FS9, I may be in violation of copying.

If you get computer pilot magazine, it always has articles on how to use different things in fsx. the gps is one of them. Also go to the AOPA site, and there is free stuff on how to use the gps as well. Also on the simmarket website, they have downloadable tutorials, cheap, on how to do these things too. The gps, radios, weather, flight planning.
