I am hoping someone can help with this problem... I am managing the computer lab where we are using FS2004 ( non-networked) and we permit students to enjoy using the program during their free periods. The issue is when teachers want to teach a group or a class they need to shuffle thru all the previously selected aircraft and runways to select the combination they want to use to teach the class. Is there a way using config files or settinga that would remove the last used combination when the application is shut down? I am a Windows admin with limited knowledge of this application but I have not seen anything that would help me. Any suggestions would be of great help ... "thanks" in advance...

Chicago-Mike,

I'm 90% sure that the "previous flight" information is contained in fs9.cfg, which is located in c:\documents and settings\<username>\application data\microsoft\flight simulator 9\ Assuming I'm right, one solution would be to prepare a backup fs9.cfg and use it to overwrite whatever the previous class (or whatever) had generated.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the problem so if what I'm saying doesn't make sense, do let me know.

Just save a flight with the conditions you want. Then load it whenever you want!
