Thought I'd take Lynn and Bill Lyons pa22 for a jolly over NZ. I'd forgotten how nice this little bird is.
Nice day for it.
Yep, nice day.
Past Mt Cook.
The crop circle aliens have been busy.
Arrival at destination.
Down safe (makes a change for me).
Welcome to Queenstown.
Was a nice flight and the winds were fairly calm.

While I was there, I thought I'd buy this.
Checking it out.
The misty mountains?
Nice coast too.
Now thats something I don't see every day.
Oh well, time to go.
Hover taxi to land.

Stuff like these make you want to love FS forever.................

Thanks Kin, I still love FS9 but just haven't had the time to fully enjoy it for the past couple of years. It's been a long time since I last posted here (couple of years ish) and been a long time since we last spoke :o.

Very Nice shots indeed... what scenery is that Bob?
02-28-2008, 04:59 PM
Bob, I like your sceneries and I like your birds
02-28-2008, 05:13 PM
Thanks Louis and Jan.
Louis, both the sceneries are by Peter Lohr ... Mount Cook and Queenstown (can't remember where I found them though).
Jan, those birds are indeed very nice, the heli bird is one I painted about a year ago which can be found at hovercontrol.com. Its for Owen Hewitt's Bell 206B III and also fits the Dodosim, there is also one painted in red.

Thanks AlienA51, 'ere, you weren't responsible for those circles in pic 6 first post was you? :D.
02-28-2008, 06:10 PM
I know who was responsible for the circles: It must have been Squitters / Steve with one of his usual helo landings :eek:
02-28-2008, 06:48 PM
Jan thats brilliant, and thats on one of Steve's good days:D:D.
02-28-2008, 06:52 PM
Steve posted this pic in one of my threads, we discussed our helo "flying" in FS :D
Ah Bill's Tri-Pacer...
Definitely another "underrated" aircraft....

Hey Bob
Wonderful post/shots mate, great GA and nice Heli ( ) flying them does wonders for my street cred as I'm so good at landing them
PS there is more traffic in your shots than we saw at Southend earlier :D you know we need more time there if we will ever get to see anything move so I got us a bigger flask for the tea
