Just a post to inform others of a problem I've had with the Videologic Sonic
Fury sound card and third party aircraft in FS2K. Default aircraft are OK
mostly although there have been hangs when changing views and during instant
replay. But third party aircraft will not load. THe initial few secs are OK but
when the program reaches the point at which engine sounds would normally begin
I get the dreaded blue screen and a fatal error message. Changing to the older
Videologic Sonic Vortex solved the problem completely.
My system is ABIT KG7 Lite; AMD 1600 XP; ATI Radeon 7500 (with latest drivers);
Win98SE; FS2K 2b patch; Fsuipc.
Can anyone explain this?

Sounds to me like an interrupt conflict. Try inserting the sound card in a
different PCI slot. With a bit of luck, this should help.
