I seem to recall that at one time I could re-create nice dawn/dusk skies in
fs95/98.. I do not seem to be able to do this in fs2000...am I right? or am I
doing something wrong? any help would be appreciated....Terry

It seems that this forum is populated by half a dozen blokes who are interested
only in finding out where all the good guys have gone! I wonder too! This
forum used to actually help folk like you and me.

Much of the reason is that the 2-hour time limit makes it very difficult to do
any research and answer knowledgeable.
In this case, I've got to ask if you have the "Dawn/Dusk Texture Smoothing"
option checked in the display options. The higher display resolutions also
improve the lighting effects. The screen shot contest results are filled with
very impressive shots of dawn and dusk so someone must be getting them!

I'm sorry, I was looking at FS2002 options. FS2000 requires 32 bit resolution
to get good graphics though.

I'm just a little tired of playing hide and go-seek with the FSV forum. The
last time it asked me to register all over again, I decided that it wasn't
worth the trouble anymore. Shortly after that it became a moot point!

Well - i have no doubt that it will be more stable with Frank Cubillos as the
one running the site rather than John Consterdine and all the mess he managed
to get out of it.

The re-registring is because of this - a new forum at a new place. But it's
ofcourse up to you - just want to be sure you know.

There is a check box in the video card area of the options area. I guess the
dogs got your manuel. It's in there too.

That used to come up all the time too.

Um...have you tried changing "time of day"? Works for me...and you can then
"iterate it" by just going back or forth an hour to get darker, lighter, etc.

Captain, it's good to see a post from you again. It has been a very long time.
I was wondering if you were still about or had been shipped out. Are you still
on active duty?
Best Regards,
Jesse
