Has anyone else received the error message 'Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000
Module has encountered a problem and must close' error while running under
windows xp? If so, how did you fix it? I've tried uninstalling and
re-installing.. no help at all.....

Try mailing MS. They actually seem to want to help with XP! I know I had a
problem, unrelated to FS though, and wrote to them about it....After a few days
they wrote back and were very helpful AND even followed it a few days later
with a mail just to see if everything was OK.....I must have bn good in a
previous life! lol

It seems to me I have seen a message on the Zone page "having trouble playing
games with XP?; download the patch here"

since I don't have xp, I haven't paid it much attention, but it's definitely
there

Have either of you thought of sending the error info to Microsoft? That's why
the OS is producing it!
