Are you sure you're not running 2002? As far as I'm aware there is no ATC in
2000.

I'd be glad of any help to solve a minor, but irritating, problem with FS2K
default Flight Planner.
When flying on-line, it occasioally happens that atc gives an instruction to
route direct to a waypoint which does not happen to be the next waypoint on
FS2K Flight Planner. Thereafter all the useful data which FP is supposed to
give about upcoming waypoints on your route (distance, tracking etc) are
useless, because the Planner seems unable to recognise that you have passed any

given waypoint until you have passed within about 1nm of it. It seems to
'think' that you are just taking a very elaborate route to the waypoint it is
stuck with - and you are stuck with it, too, as far as flight information is
concerned.
In all other respects, FP is a quite serviceable tool.
Any help much appreciated.
Thank you.

Chris,
Sorry. I didn't make my meaning very clear. I meant on-line flying with Squawk
Box and Roger Wilco. The only way to fly!.
