Hey Mal,
Have you flowen Virgin Blue?
I flew for the first time on Thursday, and what a laugh!
They have a personal pre-start/safety briefing which is so natural and 'normal'
compared to Qantas (havent flowen on 'Ansett' as no-op to Cairns), plus we had
moderate turbulance between BNECNS, where the cabincrew had to take
seats...(one sat beside me), and we did 'Air-aerobics'...wiggling the feat,
hands in the air....it was so good....there was a business man on the other
side of me doing it!...Plus it was Valentines Day...funny to see how many
people at the baggage claim had painted faces...really good to see that Virgin
has taken the intiative and normalised air-travel.....no more of the 'sit-down
and shut-up' routine.
