I suggest downloading and installing a programme - available, I think, on this
site - called QuickGoTo.zip
When it's installed (see the included "Readme" document), it will 'remember'
the exact co-ordinates of any parking place you choose so that you can put your
aircraft there quickly.
On my own installation I have around 30 or so 'remembered' locations, all -
needless to say - at gates of various airports.
One word of caution. If you decide to start from parking location X at airport
Y, it's a good idea to put your aircraft first at airport Y via the GoTo
facility and then 'fine-tune' the location with QuickGoTo. This avoids any
crashes which might result from a great difference in altitude between the
airport you were at before and the one you select in GoTo.
A useful little programme.
There are, of course, other ways, such as the Save Flight option under
"Flights" and, of course, selecting "Previous Flight" as your default flight
position will ensure that your aircraft will be, when you start up FS2K, where
you left it last time.
