i NEED THREE DRIVER COPIES.
THEY ARE:
1. VISUALFX.DLL
2. WINDOW.DLL
3. WINMSG.DLL

These are not inside the module file but .."click" all files when inside the
fs2k pro edition with update. You`ll then see them.
These files were damaged when my game crashed. I moved the whole game
..reinstalled the game again copied the whole module fie but I didn`t know
these were damaged.
I have so much scenery and planes installed in it that it took 45 minutes to
move it and then back .So I don`t want to do it again and as you might not
know, Microsoft fs games only install in their predetermined path.[Don`t give
you the option upon installing] so I can`t install it anywhere else and then
move it or copy the files.
Plese send me a copy of the three. to Hermitprw@aol.com Thanks

Of course you have an option of where the FS program is installed! During the
installation it shows you where it intends to install the program and you can
either change it or browse to find a location. I have mine installed on my D:
drive and named just FS2K and FS2K2. No problem.
The .dll files are either part of the FS2000 patch or a part of Windows. Try
reinstalling the patch.

I sympathize with your plight, but disagree with part of the above. I've
consistently installed my flight sims where *I* wanted them, not where
Microsoft thought they ought to go. During the initial installation process you
can change directories - even the name of how you want the sim to appear on
your drive. My path is D:\FS2K - makes it really short and easy to get do
during other file operations. My FS98 is stored under C:\FS98. Neither of them
were *forced* to specific paths.

Hi Paul,
These dll files should be in your modules folder and they should be in your
FS2000 Disk #1 Game Cab. Pop in your CD Go to Windows Explorer, right click on
your game.cab file and select the files that you want. Then, right click on
them to extract them.
BTW, you can reinstall over an existing copy of FS2000 without destroying your
scenery and airplane add-ons...generally. Only when you have altered files with
the same names as the originals do you get a mess. Like the case with your
scenery.cfg. or your aircraft.cfg or your default situation (If you changed
that) -just save/reinstall the older one.
