The Joystick Wingman works in FS98 and don't in CFS!!!!!!

Hi friends

Yesterdays I installed in my son's computer FS98 and CFS, and I become
astonished because his joystick don't works in CFS!!!!
I configured all the things in Control Panel, after in the Settings in the
CFS, and in "Wingman joystick" I have the "OK"!!!
When we went to the CFS, start the engine, and try to fly... the joystick
don't works!!!!
I went to settings and have noted that you have three options:
Keyboard
Joystick
Mouse
I put in "Joystick" but the mark comes back always to "Keyboard"

Someone could help me?????
