Hi everybody,

I got a problem with my CFS and my Voodoo 1. When I activate my Voodoo card in
CFS during the game the graphics often freeze for a split second, even though I

got not too bad frame rates (20-25fps). In addition there need not be many
objects (e.g. only me and my wingman) around, so there is not much to do for
the card and the processor.

In normal software rendering mode this does not occur! The graphics there are
much slower, of course, but this phenomenon only occurs in 3D accelerated mode.

I have the newest drivers for both cards (ET6000 and Voodoo1), an AMD K6 233,
64MB Ram.

Anybody experienced similar problems?

If so please post a message here or send me a mail (mr.woof@usa.net)

Thanks very much

These pauses are very common in FS98 in 3D mode, and no one has found a
solution. I've seen them on a couple of occasions in CFS, but they were VERY
brief -- if I blinked I'd have missed them.

An addendum: Flew Mr. L'Hommes's P-51 in CFS --- I got LONG scenery pauses,
and the friend in Multiplayer with me got some short ones, though he was using
a default a/c -- Hmmm... May shed some new light on the pauses.
