and download / install the SideWinder Game Controller. Software v3.02.
It's a large file but it's free and it worked for me when I was experiencing
the problem of FS98 suddenly not finding my joy stick that had been there for a
year. Was also having the same problem with Combat Sim but it was cured at
the same time.
