I was told by a Microsoft support tech here in Tucson that one of the
manufacturers of CDs for them made a huge amount of bad ones that won't allow
more than 65% install.

I had a problem installing CFS, would not get past ~65%. Shut down ALL
programs and tried again, it worked but still took an exceptionally long time
to install ( >10 min !! ).
Well worth the effort it is a great simulation far superior than FS98. Just
need to learn how to shoot down the 109s.
