F4U Steering

How does one steer the F4u on the ground in FS98? My joystick isn't doing it,
but works the ailerons. Bill I.

I get the best steering effects on the ground using rudder and differential
braking (F11 and F12) and appropriate blasts from the propeller.
Go to Home..Settings...Customize controls ... and set the rudder and others to
high -- it works for me. You can maneuver better in the air, too.
By the way, I don't use a joystick or yoke, even though I have both. I'm just
used to finger-dancing the keys, I guess. Anybody else prefer the keyboard?

Another observation -- I've tried keeping my disk in my 2x CD drive, but the
time interval between sessions is much longer than when it's in my 24x drive,
so I figure there is a significant loading of information with each disk
access, despite my full install -- not just a perfunctory use of the disk just
for copy protection, for what it's worth.
