Hi,

Anyone running CFS with a STB Velocity 128ZX card (PCI version)? If so,
what frame rates are you having?
thanks,

J.L. Curiel
I have the straight velocity 128 and am not getting it recognized in CFS.
I should be able to select a 3D driver in CFS but not listed.
Getting about 10FPS

I too use a standard Velocity 128. Try changing drivers. I went from about 10
fps to 30 fps by using an older driver!

Hi Bilbo,
Sorry I took so long to reply.
I too found that my card wasn't recognized, but it was just a matter of
reinstalling Direct X 6 which came on the CFS disk. My card is now recognized
and the simulator is literally flying.
I run a Dell Dimension 266 Mhz. and I finally found a driver that works well on
the Dell site (www.dell.com). Windows 98 installed (without warning) a new
video driver which was terrible but everything is back to normal with the
driver I downloaded from Dell.
Hope this helps,
John.

Thank You It worked like a charm.30fps fill screen now.
I installed DX6 but maybe it didn't take the first time.
It automatically changed all the settings in CFS also.

Are any of you Dell OEM STB 128 users seeing resolutions above 800x600 ? In
FS98 I run at the next higher level, but in CFS 800x600 is as far as it goes.
My machine is a Dimension 266 PII with 64MB and the drivers that came with the
PC.
