On of my favorite things about MCS is the differences in the aircraft and
flight models that ensure you have to know the airplane to do well in a
multiplayer enviroment. Has anyone tried out any of the multiplayer venues?

I understand the software has a "certification" feature that allows the "host"
to determine whether to allow airplanes that have been modified. This is a
great idea since I do not want to play against a F16 in my FW190 :)

Actually, in the hands of a skilled pilot, a FW190 just might win. A 190
can out turn an F16 any day so the F16 would have to resort to high speed
slashing attacks.

Something similar has been documented in real life.
The F4U corsair is credited with a Mig jet (not sure of the model) during the
Korean war.
Nowadays, we do have more sophisticated homing devices though.

Yes, I've flown two free-for-alls on the zone, and it is great!!!!

I was able to use the default P-51 that I've painted red and black, and was
able to do it without any problem. I've even flown that plane against a souped
up Sopwith. If you get a chance, try it!!
