This things a HOOT!

Installation:Flawless, I didn't bother reading the instructions,
naturally. After inserting the CD into the drive, autostart took
over and guided me thru the installation, I used the Typical install
and the whole process only took a couple or three minutes.
I purchased my CD from 4-CD's, they must have the good ones.

Frame Rate: First thing I did was go to the setup menu and select
the Settings Menu, under display I chose-Player Defined,
Image Complexity-Very Dense,under- Advanced Display Settings,
I checked All boxes.
The lowest rate I've been able to achieve is 28 and the highest is
43. I thought I'd get more of a spread especially on the high end.

Pauses: Everyone says their present, I guess I just haven't found them
Yet. I've spent about 45mins just trying to get a pause, even a short
One……..not yet.

Graphics: There definitely the best I've seen in a sim, although there is
something different about them, oh well, not sure yet.

Sound: Sounds good to me.

Complaints: I have to put the bloody CD in the drive to use the sim. I
HATE that. Glad MS left something for me to complain about. Kinda looks
to me like MS has given this an exhaustive beta testing period, and has
worked out the bugs. I know some folks have had problems with the install
procedure. I guess its really not feasible for MS to test for every possible
PC configuration that exists.I know that doesn't make the guy with problems
feel any better.

My equipment: PII 400, 128mb@100Mhz, Plextor 32spd, standard shift. ;)
