I have the registered version of FSNav 4.4 but for some reason about a week
ago it stoped working right, What i mean is when I make my flight plan and
click the Fly Flight Plan the only thing that works is the ALT. the heading
remains at 000 and flight speed is 0 if I set the aircraft on the flight path
it will sound the tone at the fix points and the ALT will change, but that is
all. Any Ideas or should I try to reinstall it, Or maybe just download the
newest version, if I don't have to pay again that is.
Thanks for any help you may have. Jim
Hi !
I've had this problem from time to time. Usually a complete reboot solves the
problem. Try the following:
1) Reboot
2) As soon as the PC is stable, shut down all other programs that may be
running.
3) Start FS98
4) open up FSNav, and load your flightplan.
5) Move to your start airport.
6) Start any ancillary programs, like Real Weather, that you want to use.
7) Prepare for takeoff
8) In FSNav set Fly Flightplan
9) Take off
10) When aloft raise gear
11) In FSNav set autopilot
This usually works for me ! You'll know if there's something wrong if the plane
fails to change course at the first course deviation.
Good luck,
Alastair
