Alistair, the first step is to have a home page with your ISP. The next step is
to download the WS_FTP Client from the 'must have files' section here on
fs.com. This will provide you with a means of uploading your pictures to your
ISP account. Once that is done, all you need to do is take your picture,
convert it to either .gif or .jpg and you are on the way. You can see what HTML
tags to use by hitting the reply button on the page that has picture.
I hope this will help

Boy, do i know that plane ... lol
Fred Young, Spud and myself flew that plane around the world last summer. We
followed the route of Amelia Earnhart,I had to edit it's fuel tanks though.

Hi Jesse,
Thanks for the tips. However, you've opened a real can of worms. My "internet
browsing" account (as opposed to my "mail" account that allows off-line reading
with Outlook) is of the unlimited Evenings and Weekends type, with an ISP that
was subsequently swallowed/merged with another ISP. When I tried to activate my
webspace, it seems that the present ISP doesn't recognise my logon name. Thus
I'm working on the problem !
One question. Do the pictures have to be posted to the ISP I'm using to connect
to flightsim.com, or can it be any webspace ? Obviously the link to the
DCForum, where I posted the Christmas card, doesn't show up here. If any
webspace will do, I can probably tack an extra page onto my FrontPage site for
St. John Ambulance.
Cheers,
Alastair

It doesn't matter where the picture is filed as long as your Post points to the
correct URL and picture title: You could for example be logged on to
fltsim.com, with one ISP and you could use the URL for another ISP providing
they will allow third party grahics. If you recall, a lot of the sites don't
let you use their facilities and all you get for a picture is the famous RED
X;...I'm not an expert on this but I'm sure it works like that. BTW, I saw your
Christmas Card and it was very nice.
