I have downloaded and installed (correctly I believe) but have a problem.

The airports are very detailed but the scenery between has no real texture.

For example, Nice aiport seems to be quite away in land with no mountains.
Cannes has as lovely beach, but more land/fields with a boat where the sea
should be.

If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.

Hi !

I also use France 98, and, not knowing France that well, assumed that Alain
Leduc was concentrating on the airports etc, and that the bits in between were
the default FS98 secenery, which, I agree, is a bit drab/monotonous.

For the record, my system has, for the France98 set, a Scenery folder of 486
files at 14.7Mb and a Texture folder of 441 files at 25Mb. Half of the texture
files are for aircraft.

If, by "no real texture" you mean dull blocks of colour, this is probably the
default FS98 textures. If there really is no differentiation between the
plates, you might want to check that you have the FS98 Europe module activated
( \FS98\Scenery\Europe).

Best wishes,

Alastair
