Well....now that the site is back to a resemblence of normal and we can all
get in with somewhat regularity I would like to first apologize to Nels about
the remarks I made prior to finding out the real scoop and that it feels good
to be back. And second,if anyone out there would like to give me a hand testing
an old crate it would really be appreciated. Snoop, the reason that i didn't ask
you is that I know your up to you deriere in keepin the site up to snuff.
But,what i have is a Handley Page 400 that was dropped off at the hangar for a
tune up,tighten the wires and lube the pulleys and chck it all over and test
the motors. Well I am pretty close to a test and I need someone WITH RUDDER
PEDALS and a knowledge of old crates to give her a go. Now you may be
wondering why I am asking and just not doin it myself. Well, yesterday I was
exiting our kitchen headed for the living room and to do so you have to go
through the dining room. Well ...upon entering the dining room you have to make
a sharp right turn and head past the wine rack and the bar which puts you
between the table and the later. Now the table is an original art deco piece
that weighs a proverbial ton and has the original steel legs. I was still in my
stocking feet and as I rounded the corner at a pretty good clip...introduced my
left for to the steel table legs which resulted in my little toe being broken
and the next toe being cracked which has resulted in me not being able to tap
dance on rudder pedals(walking right now is a thriller, especially trying to get
to the can) or dancing on anything for that matter. SSSOooooooo...if any of you
would like to help and can get ahold of the spec's for the 400 it would really
be appreciated.

Also...if I found out that when you do this it will expand your vocabulary
greatly. You can ask my neighbors, they got an ear full and some were blushing as
the windows were open;-)
