i have fs4.0b but no asd and i have a lot of downloaded jets(747's 727's
ect.) and when I try to turn left the alerons and rudder jerk violently
to the right and just kinda go crazy (very enioing while landing) is this
a result of not having asd or is this my computer (486 66mhz 8meg ram)
because I was running it on a 286 and never had any problem

If I were you, just buy flight simulator98 (or 5.1).
I also have had flight simulator 4.0 on a XT!!
It was my first flight simulator and very enjoyable, but the newer
versions of flight simulator are much more enjoyable.
You do have a 486, so it must be such a big problem. Just try!!
