I am trying to add scenery and airport to my MS FLTSIM4. I recently downloaded


one of Charlotte Airport. Unzip the file, ran a convertion program from MS
FLTSIM4 and install in the FLTSIM directory. The airport shows up in the menu
BUT, when you active it, it will work for 3 seconds and then the sound goes
away. You can increase the throtte but the plane doesn't move. What is wrong
and how can I fix it?

I am under the impression that extra software is required for extra scenery
with MSFS 4. You man need some thing like Aircraft and Scenery Designer (ASD)
or some of the other software. I believe Microsoft had some design software,
also.

Thats right, you need ASD. Sublogic and Mallard made addons, icluding scenery,
for FS4.

What was the conversion program? I've never heard of such a thing for FS4.

If you read the Information Manual for FS4 it describes (on page 79) a process
for converting scenery disks and SubLOGIC scenery disk.
