Hi Everyone:
I still have FS-2.0; FS-3.0; Fs-4.0 a, b, etc. I have also bought FS 5.0 and
one other. Funny Fs-2.0 is on one 5.25" disk -- flies rotten! FS-3.0 was
not much better. Of all the FS, I like 4.0 best, for what I use it for.
I flew Navy in VN and have in excess of 12,000 real flight hours, I programed
FS-4 for the whole NW from Victoria Canada to south of Portland, OR and east
to Idaho. Every year before I take my instrument flight check with the FAA
I fly every published approach in this area over and over, hold at all the
obscure intersections, practice lost com and fly all the ILS approaches.
I feel very comfortable with the FS-4 a/c, I think they feel more like an
actual plane on instruments. Granted the attitude gyro leaves something to
be desired but my x-pilot has never stumped me. Thank God for FS-4. Now
with all the a/c you can download I can still fly anything, anywhere,
anytime -- Baby!
Next week I'll buy FSWIN95 6.0 for my P-166, WIN95 machine, but in my den
I bet I'll still fly Fs-4 on my trusty 486/66 when check ride time comes
around again. Don't give up on FS-4, its simple and it works!
