I down loaded 6 difrent planes on here and all of them were missing
this file fsfssim.fso
I believe it's a matter of which flight sim version you're using.
If it's MS FS5.0, you need to get the (free) "a" upgrade to make use
of just about any add-on planes I know. Check in the File Library here
or at the Microsoft website.
Also, to use planes built with Flight Shop (FSFS,for short),
you need this additional commercial software. FSFS works with FS5.1
(and, I believe, FS5.0a); it can be ordered through advertisers here
or bought in some computer stores.
If you're using FSW95 or FS98, then there are (free) converters
that allow (most) FSFS/FS5.1 planes to be used with these. The
converters are likely here in the File Library.
Last, with any downloaded plane or scenery, check its .txt file
for description of what's needed to use it. Hope this overview helps.
