In the File Search section of flightsim.com look under fs5 Scenery with the
word "Alaska" in the "text containing" box. You will find a 500 or so kilobyte
zip file that has all of the scenery for Alaska. In the readme file it says it
requires the CD version of FS5.1. I have the disk version and the readme says
if u use the scenery with the disk version you will lose a lot of scenery.
Anyone out there use the Disk version with that Alaska Scenery? How much do
you lose? Also, I have the disk version of FS5.1 installed on my HDD. If I
got the FS5.1 CD, would I have to reinstall or would I be able to play the disk
version with the CD (like activate the scenery on the CD through the scenery
library or something)? What exactly do you get with the CD version anyways?
Does it eliminate the block thing where FS draws a "square of scenery" that is
about a mile by a mile and what you see beyond that is a textured wall?

Thanks
