Do you knnow where is located the .wav file containing the flap sound ? And do
you have any file to replace the original one.

If you have Fs5 I don' think that there is a wav fiel for this.
My FS5.1 on floppies didn't have one and the flaps worked until i installed
Flight shop. Now there is no sound. I saw a fix somewhere to change the sound
board in FS5.ini file but it didn't work for me.

Ummmm.... did you look through the files on this site? I found SCADS of sounds

and other great stuff.... including flap sounds

I never had a flap sound and I think it is digitized in Fs5.1 floppy version.
When i just installed FS5 on my new system, it worked fine with the flaps until
I installed FSFSon top. then nothing.
I don't care myself, but I saw a reference to this in a FAQ page and they
suggested changing the sound card option in the FS5.ini file to #4. This didn't
work for me. I believe that it is a minor bug related to the adv section of
FSFS.
