Hi folks! I`ve been using fs5.1 floppy on a 66mhz for a couple of years and I
finally broke down and bought an Acer 200mhz but I can only get fs5.1 to run
in VGA mode. Any attempt to setup in SVGA crashes the computer. I didnot have
this problem with my old computer. Is it possible that my Packard Bell monitor
isn`t compatible with the Acer cpu and can`t be identified for graphic
potential? Is the programming obsolete for an MMX computer? Any thoughts or
opinions would be appreciated.I enjoy the FS world and have built a nice
collection of planes, sceneries and panels with out Flight Shop or any modern
amenities but I won`t be able to tolerate vga for long. Thanks to all .
