IFF you haven't destroyed the structured object's integrity by doing something
like "snap to scale" and/or eliminating points, then in cross section mode,
select the "next" cross section and from the menu: Cross Section | Add Cross
Section. Then move your resulting cross sections around.
Note that if you've added points, adding a cross section will produce very
weird results.
You can also add a new part/structure, if the fuselage is too short... Use a
tube with the same number of points as the end of the "short" fuselage, and add
it there. Isolate the points of the end section (hide all points BUT those
you'll work with) and then, cycle through each, moving them to where you're
visually touching the "old" fuselage end points and hit "v" for snap to vertex.
or, move the end sections to the desired size, add cross sections.
etc.
there are several different ways to approach your problem....
Hope this helps

Just starting to design planes with FSDS. The current design I'm working on,
the fuselage is too short. How do I add a couple new cross sections?
Have Ron Anderson's Tutorial and the FSDS Help, neither describe adding cross
sections (that I can find).
Any help appreciated.
