Anybody want to give these machines a try?
I'd like to see FS2K models of the Moller M400 Skycar and the Moller M150
Skycar. Information on both of these (and others) can be found at:

Maybe I will...when they prove it can fly. They've been pushing this thing for
years and years and no one has yet to see the thing fly untethered. When the
press dies down they they come up with some more hype to generate funding.

This vehicle seems to be more of a financial black hole than anything else.
However, it does use the Mazda rotary engines and there are many flying
aircraft in use that use the Mazda rotary. These engines have great potential,
they produce excellent hp and have many fewer parts than your typical piston
engine. They can also be hot rodded without the potential for self-detonation
that hot rodding the conventional "certified" engines have. There are several
web sites that deal exclusively with the use of these engines in many different
aircraft on the market from the RV-4 to the Velocity. They include;

www.AtkinsRotary.com
http://www.members.home.net/flyrotary/
just to name a few.
I am trying to modify a Velocity .air file to reflect the power and performance
characteristics of swapping a 20B 3 rotor turbocharged engine in place of the
asthmatic Lycomming. And plan on building a Velocity, SQ2000 or Cozy MkIV kit
using one of these engines for the powerplant rather than the more conventional
certified engines.
