Hello Andreas:

Diferent subject than our previous message isn't it? :-(

First of all I would liko to give to the families and the people in the USA my
condolences for their lost. We are going to talk about a time before and after
this attack, with and without World Trade Center.

I fear this doesn't deal on culture but on sick people. Take a look at spanish
terrorism (thank heavens they do not have as much money as the people of this
attack) They say they "fight" for the freedom of their country (very beautiful
country in the north of Spain) But the greatest amount of their "country mates"

they do not support their attacks and declare against terrorism.

As I said I do not think that is a matter of culture but a matter of crazy
people.

Let's take the victims in our hearts and our minds.

Yes, I do not want to blame a whole culture for that. I am only bewildered
how quiet many of them behave, even if they really have influence and
power to do something against it. And I am frightened about the rising
open shown sympathy for fundamentalism.
This fundamentalism is even more a danger for Muslim culture than to our
western, "christian" or whatever (...?...) culture. And this is really
a cultural conflict.
And thatīs a pity because - thinking of the past history - sometimes in the
past the Muslim culture was the more progressive and tolerant culture than
European christianity.
"Algebra" is an arabic word.
But what is coming up now... no good hope. They are getting more powerful
every year in Northern Africa and Arabia.
As always, people who are by no means guilty ( on both sides ) have to
suffer from their policy.
And they are no unique crazies... they have rich and powerful providors
in some countries.
They have detected a vulnerable side of our life. We will never be able
to exclude that totally.

I will never forget that day

Andreas
