Howdy, I'm about to try to do a few small scenery areas from air photos. They
don't have very good building detail since their from a pretty high view, but
they have good visual of the ground. Any tips ¿
Dear JaK:

You must know the coordinate of the coorners or your ariphotos to inclue it in
FSTextures, using terrabuilder o for the FS2002 terain texture editor.

Here's an insider tip, which may not work (at least I haven't got it to work
yet). Do you know how to do elevation terrain (mesh files)? If not, download
the scenery sdk and have a good read of the docs. Then in the inf files use the
option 'type=CUSTOM'. That'll generate lots of pictures + a bgl file that uses
those pictures. However, make sure you have LOTS of space on your hd! You'll
have to fiddle around with it, and I can't guarantee you'll get it to work...

Cheers, Christian

Thanks Alfredo, Ive been looking at some satelite surveying grpahs and some
geostatistical mapping, so I think i can calculate it all down to about an inch
at least, maybe even closer... Also I wonder if you know of any realistic
scenery of peru, like the nazca airport down in the hole there, and of the old
stone walls and all that sort of stuff? and of the islands off the coast... i
love flying all around down there,,, fun trying to get slow climbing planes out
of nazca LOL....
