DirectX 9.0c

Since my "XP (PRO) Repair" and the loss of so many programs, I am wondering: Do I STILL have DirectX 9.0c...AND HOW can I Verify that I have it, ...AND HOW do I verify that it's still Functional?

I looked it up on the MS Downloads website and it seems to be something over 200Mb.. 4+ hours downloaad time on my Dial Up. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong version of DirectX. Thanks. SPOFF

Try going to the Start Menu->Run and type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes). This will tell you what version of directx you have and whether it is installed properly.

You more than likely do have it, but here is the link to download the latest version. It can be any from a few MB to a couple hundred, depending on what your system has.
